Hello there it’s Charles from Macedonia Adult Family Home the home of our loved ones. Macedonia AFH is located in Lakewood at the quiet Oakbrook area and has beds opening, private single rooms ready for our loved ones of any age. Macedonia AFH has a contract; HCS Meaningful day, expanded community services (ECS) DDA, Mental Health and Medical Health.
The home is RN owned. The staff have experience in nursing homes, long-term care units, bonding homes, medical units and Highly acuity psychiatric mental hospital settings. The home provides a home like setting and the caregiver perform several functions such as personal care, housekeeping, social and activities, cooking, group meals, helps with shower, feeding, mobility, companionship, therapeutic engagement and any ADL, following the plan of care for each resident. The home offers activities such as gardening, cooking, bible study, tea time, painting, movie night, birthday party, dancing and singing, patio and deck, local sports channel, private rooms, locked or secured/fencing for exit seekers, rides and many more. The RN provides care of any nursing duty and the home provides 24hrs direct patient care. The staff are experienced in nursing homes including long-term care units, bonding homes, medical units and Highly acuity psychiatric mental hospital for a long time.
